Documentaries – warning

There have been a few calls for participants in documentaries lately that members of our community have raised concerns about. Please be vigilant and check it out with respected trans sources, e.g Trans Media Watch, before responding.

LGBT Health Event, 28th October, 5-8, Antenna, Beck St

A chance to come and talk to Volunteers from Nottingham Action for Trans Health and Notts Trans Hub, plus lots more health information and stalls. Info

Trans Space Notts (TSN) next meets 7th November, 7-9.

This funded group runs 7-9, 1st Monday of the month, further details here. All people who self-identify under the trans umbrella and those who support them are welcome.

Trans Meet Up, 15 November, 7-9

The informal trans meet-up/social is always 3rd Tuesday of the month.  Open to all trans people and Significant Others, Friends, Family and Allies (SOFFAs), meet upstairs at Broadway bar.

Trans Lives: East Mids Nottingham Launch Event: Thursday 17 Nov, Broadway
A talk and Q & A with Nottingham-born trans rights activist, Paris Lees, and an introduction to the Trans Lives: East Mids oral history project. Book Here
Transgender Day of Remembrance Candlelit Vigil, 20th November, 6pm

A community-led event, supported by the City Council. The event will be at 6.00 pm, 20th November, Barker Gate Resting Gardens (map here), as last year, with a low key meet up at Loxley House afterwards for warm drinks and gentle conversation.
