New Trans Support Group starts 4th July!

After months of planning, surveys and training, the support group is ready to launch. It will be 7-9, 1st Monday of the month, further details here. All people who self-identify under the trans umbrella are welcome.

Trans Meet Up, 21 June, 19th July

The next informal trans meet-up/social will be on 21 June, and will be monthly from then on.  Open to all trans people and Significant Others, Friends, Family and Allies (SOFFAs), meet upstairs at Broadway bar.

Notts Pride, 30th July, 12-6

This will once again be in Hockley, and promises to be an amazing, inclusive event.

Pulse Nightclub shooting

Members of Notts Trans Hub were shocked and saddened to hear of the shootings. This hate crime mainly targeted the LGBT Latinx community, so many of us were glad to support the fitting, moving vigil held by the QTIPoC group. An article and video about this can be found here. Two other vigils have also been held by the local LGBT community.

Nottingham Rainbow Families Group

The Rainbow Families Group is a trans-friendly LGBTQI group
for parents/ carers and wider family and friends attending
with children. The next meet up is at Wollaton Park and Hall on Saturday

Family Pride 5th – 8th August 2016

A camping weekend for LGBT families, Staffs. Lots of fun activities for kids included.

Seeking Patients to sit on CCG’s People’s Council

Patient Leaders –  will work alongside City doctors, health managers and sit on our People’s Council to improve local services. Training and development will be provided.

Gender Clinic Feedback

It is important that as a community we feed back any issues with the gender clinic, particularly around waiting times.
