CCG Consultation Meeting with Trans Community, 17th May, 6pm, CVS, 7 Mansfield Rd

A vital opportunity to meet with commissioners of health services and steer their planning. Nottingham City CCG is refreshing its strategic health priorities for the next three years. As part of that process they want to engage with all sectors of Nottingham City’s population. They’re keen to hear from  the full diversity of the local Trans community. Details

Notts LGBT Pride, Saturday 30th July

The Notts transgender community is coming together to join forces for Nottingham Pride 2016. Last year saw the Nottingham Chameleons and the Invasion group host a lively stall and It’d be great to include other trans groups, associations and agencies to put together a mini trans village and have a unified presence. Nottingham Invasion, 3rd Friday

A monthly social group, meeting at the new foresters from 9pm then onwards into town. Ideal for trans folk who are wishing to be more ‘out n about’ and to meet new friends. Predominantly a M2F crowd but all welcome. Join our FB page for more details.

Nottingham Chameleons, 2nd & 4th Thursdays

Social and support group for trans people, their familes and partners. Quiet, out of town location, away from the public. Most of our members are ‘M2F’, although we’re seeing more trans-men and younger people approach us. Website

Commissioned by GIRES, this leaflet is available by emailing We have ordered one for Switchboard, and one for Notts Trans Hub, and will bring to meetings.

Self Medication Day, Action for Trans Health, 30th April, Manchester

Day of discussion around self medication. Covering advocacy around self medication, bridging scripts, and monitoring, as well as facilitating a wider discussion around self medication, harm reduction, mental health, etc.
