Transgender Day of Remembrance, (TDoR) 20th November

Transgender Day of Remembrance is an international day of remembrance, specifically to remember people who are murdered as a result of trans hate crimes, of which a disproportionate number are trans women of colour.

Nottingham City TDoR Event, 20th November, 6.30pm

The Nottingham Remembrance service will take place at 6.30pm at Barker Gate Resting Garden. The entrance gate to the garden can be found opposite Bistro Live in the Lace Market area. The organisers have worked hard with the community to make this a safe space, and have signed up to the Safer Space Guidelines.

Transcend, Derby

“We will be having a TDOR day on the 21st November. We also have a drop-in on Wednesday and support group every 1st Wednesday of the month. The website can be found here.” details

Trans Meet Up, 8th December, Broadway, 7.00pm

A chance for trans people and supporters to have a relaxed get together and some community time in a friendly venue that has gender neutral toilets. Open to all people under the trans umbrella and SOFFAs. We’ll be in the upstairs bit if it’s open. details

QTIPOC Notts – New Group

“Feel out of place in a straight white world?
